Bangladesh clinches first ODI series win over Pakistan

Tamim Iqbal scored his consecutive double centuries in the ongoing One-Day International series against Pakistan. This is the first occasion when Bangladesh has defeated Pakistan in an ODI series. Bangladesh beat Pakistan in the second ODI match of three One-Days series by 7 wickets and take 2-0 lead. Tamim made unbeaten 116 runs in 116 balls which awarded him the Man of The Match trophy.

Pakistan won toss and chose to bat. Their batting was really bad and lost wickets on regular intervals. Saad Nasim scored unbeaten 77 in 96 balls and built 85 runs crucial partnership with Wahab Riaz for 7 wicket to take his team total to 239 in 50 overs. Wahab made 51 runs in 40 balls. That was not big target for inform Bangladeshi batting line up and they chased it in 39th over for the loss of 3 wickets.

Tamim Iqbal remained unbeaten with his brilliant century and wicket-keeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim scored 65 in 70 balls. Winning this match Bangladesh team create history as they won maiden One-Day International series against Pakistan ever. The last ODI of series will be played on 21 April, 2015 at Dhaka.
