Colombian city Cartagena has been chosen as the host of draw for 2020 Copa America event. The draw will take place on December 3 at Cartagena as per official document released by governing body CONMEBOL.

Cartagena de Indias Convention Center to witness the draw for South American football championship tournament. The 47th edition of Copa America is scheduled to host by Argentina and Colombia. This event to see 10 CONMEBOL teams facing off each other along with two Asian countries making 12-team tournament.

In 2011, Cartagena also hosted the draw of FIFA U-20 world cup that took place in the Colombia.

Qatar and Australia are the invited nations to Copa America tournament next year that will be played between 12 June and 12 July. Brazil will be title defending champions in the event.
