The predictions of Copa America 2015 have begun and in this series, Diego Maradona has predicted that hosts Chile are the hot favorites to win the title. In an interview with Latin-American channel Telesur Maradona has mentioned Chile has got some good players in their squad for 2015 Copa America that can guide them to win the tournament.

He said, “I think Chile will be the favourites to win the Copa America with them hosting it. And don’t forget they have [Alexis] Sanchez as well as Vidal and [Gary] Medel, they are very strong.”

Diego Maradona also believes that Arturo Vidal is one of the key players along with Sanchez and Medel for Chile football team. Even Maradona has said that he really likes Vidal and love the way he plays.

Maradona said, “Vidal is a player I seriously like. He is like a player from Boca Juniors who fights and has great courage from the minute he puts on the jersey.”

The 2015 Copa America is scheduled to start on 11 June at Santiago with a match between Chile and Ecuador.
