World number 2 tennis player Roger Federer has entered into the semi-final of 2015 Dubai Tennis Championship. In the quarterfinal match played against Richard Gasquet , Federer won first set by 6-1 and the game couldn’t go more far as Richard got injury and ruled out himself from the tournament.

After qualifying for the semi-final, defending champion Federer said he played well in the match but it’s difficult to judge the performance in 20 minutes game as Gasquet got injured and match couldn’t go further after first set.

Roger Federer said, “I think I played well. I served well. Then again, the test was so short that it’s tough to judge on a 20-minute match. But, you know, I think I was hitting the ball well again, like yesterday. I felt able to play aggressive and do what I was hoping to do, so I was very pleased, actually.

Switzerland star Federer will now face Borna Coric in the semi-final match who defeated number three seed Andy Murray. Federer also believes that it was great win for Coric against Murray as he had been star performer at Dubai in recent past years.
