Good news for PAK as Saturday clash against SA may washout

The good news for Pakistan camp in cricket world cup 2015 as their key match against South Africa can be abandoned due to rain on Saturday At Auckland. New Zealand’s MetServices has predicted that the forecast on 7 March, 2015 is not good for cricket as heavy rain may interrupt many times during afternoon session when South Africa vs Pakistan match is scheduled.

Good news for PAK as Saturday clash against SA may washout.

This prediction makes Pakistan cricket team and fans face smiling as South Africa is in tremendous form and they have scored 400+ runs in their last two matches and won by 200 plus runs margin. So if match couldn’t be completed both Pakistan and Proteas team will share 1-1 point each in world cup 2015 points table which is more beneficial for Pakistan to make it through quarterfinals.

South Africa coach Russell Domingo has already mentioned that Pakistan is a brilliant team and they can beat any side on their day. We are aware of it and we’ll do enough preparations to win against Pak. He said, “We know that they can beat anybody on their day. We need to prepare really well and we need to make sure we respect the opposition and make sure we go through our processes really well over the next couple of days because their strength lies in the predictability of their unpredictability.”

On Philander’s fitness Domingo clearly mentioned that management is looking forward to get Philander completely fit before the main stage of tournament which is coming within few days. He added, “We need to just make sure Vernon is 100 percent ready to go because, a hamstring strain, we need to be careful about that with the important stage of the competition still to come.”
