2015 cricket world cup defending champions Indian cricket team to take on West Indies in the 28th game of tournament on 6 March. This is the pool B match scheduled to be played at WACA in Perth. It is going to be the battle between two-two times world cricket champions as West Indies won world cups in 1975 and 1979 whereas India clinched title in 1983 and 2011.
India hasn’t lost single match in 11th cricket world cup so far and they have defeated Pakistan, South Africa and United Arab Emirates successfully. On the other hand West Indies managed to win against Pakistan and Zimbabwe whereas they lost two games against Ireland and South Africa. Losing against Ireland was really a setback for Caribbean team but they came back strong in next matches against Pakistan and Zimbabwe.
If you look at both sides on paper you’ll find Indian cricket team is much better than West Indies, not only on papers but also on the ground performance Caribbean team is behind from team India. West Indies team got the tag of unpredictable as you’ll see them beating top team of world cricket and on the very next day you’ll get them down to earth.
West Indies lost their opening match of competition against Ireland which really hurt them but they came back really well against PAK side and won it. Chris Gayle’s return to form was crucial for Caribbean team against Zimbabwe as he scored first ODI double hundred of cricket world cup. But he got failed in the previous game against South Africa and gone for duck.
Still Gayle will be the X factor in tomorrow’s game. If West Indies wants to beat India, they need to bowl really well as Indian batting line up is in great form. All top order batsmen of team India have shown good batting skills in previous three games. Shikhar, Rohit, Virat, Rahane and Raina all these guys played brilliant innings.
Virat Kohli is the x factor for India in tomorrow’s game. Bowlers have done pretty well in previous game and restrict oppositions to score runs. Mohamamd Shami is fit for clash against West Indies at Perth hence Indian team will be having good bowling options against West Indies batting line up that includes Gayle, Samuels, Smith and Darren Sammy.

Indian team is favorite to win tomorrow’s game against West Indies and they have got 70 percent chances to win at Perth. Hope to see a great match tomorrow.
