Sonu scored 17 raid points in the game, making this the best ever raid performance by a Gujarat player in the PKL history. With this win, Gujarat managed to finish their campaign with a win despite having a forgettable season.

Even before the start of this match, both teams had already been ruled out of the tournament. However, at the beginning of this match, Telugu Titans looked more determined to end their campaign with a win.

Rakesh Gowda and Siddharth Desai impressed with their raids in the first half and Telugu Titans looked like acing the game till mid time. Titans got their first all-out in just the seventh minute and that time, it looked like they were in control of the match. At the end of first half, Telugu Titans were leading 21-13.

However, things changed after the half time break and it seemed like Gujarat Fortunegiants were determined to turn destiny in their favor. Sonu in particular impressed with his perfect raids and Gujarat had their first all out of second half in just 2 minutes.

Sonu picked up his Super 10 while this likes of GB More and Rohit Gulia also picked up their game. Gujarat were able to convert their momentum to inflict another All-Out on the Titans with 8 minutes remaining into the game and take the lead for the first time.

Sonu’s impressive night got even better when he picked up a massive 4-point Super Raid with 6 minutes left in the match to give Gujarat a 5-point cushion.

The season six runners-up secured another All-Out with less than three minutes to open an 8-point lead which helped them seal the match.
