BCCI selection committee have announced national team squads for the upcoming limited overs series’ against Sri Lanka and Australia in new year 2020. Indian team to play three T20Is against Sri Lanka starting from 5th January. Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah is returned to the side for both series meanwhile Rohit Sharma and Mohammed Shami have been rested for Sri Lanka twenty20s.
Shikhar Dhawan is also named in the Men In Blue roster for Sri Lanka T20s and Australia ODIs as he’s out from the team. Bumrah was recovering from stress fracture but now he’s fit and ready to play at the international level again. Series with Australia is starting from 14th January.
Rohit Sharma will be playing against Australia as he’s rested for SL T20s only. That means, captain Virat Kohli will have three openers in the ODI squad including Shikhar and Rahul with Rohit.
