Martin Crowe says, its NZ vs SA Final in 2015 cricket world cup

1992 ICC world cup Blackcaps Captain Martin Crowe says that New Zealand and South Africa will be playing 2015 cricket world cup final in Melbourne Cricket Ground on March 29. Under his captaincy Kiwi team reached to the semifinals of 1992 world cup where they knocked out by Pakistan.

Martin Crowe predicts New Zealand-South Africa for world cup 2015 final.

Martin Crowe says that his gut feeling is predicting Proteas and Kiwis to play the final of 2015 cricket world cup. He said, “I’m picking a South Africa-New Zealand final – that’s my gut feeling.”

Off course he’ll be supporting home side to win the world cup like every fan. “Like any other fan, I’ll be here supporting and I’ll enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the event, and see this side hopefully progress successfully,” he added.

The New Zealand team is performing well these days and recently they have won test series against Sri Lanka by 2-0. Crowe says that it will help team in world cup and we’ll be benefitted for sure as we are hosting the tournament.

“The number of doubles and triples being scored at the moment is testament to the quality they have. The bowling, their fielding, the coaching staff, the selection… it’s all been very consistent, and it must give every player a lot of faith and encouragement.”

Martin Crowe also mentions that the team who will play with no fear will become the champion of 2015 cricket world cup. He said, “I think they’ve removed any fear, so I expect a fearless side running out here.”

He also praised current Kiwi captain Brendon McCullum and said that he is a good leader and his decision making is good enough to make a team champion.

“I think Brendon will be a very good decision-maker, that’s what he’s got to be on the day. And they’ve got to stay grounded from one game to another… but we’ve seen the quality and skill they all possess.”

New Zealand is in pool A of ICC world cup 2015 and they’ll face Sri Lanka in the inaugural match of competition.
