Misbah said on Australia, “Favorites doesn’t win always”

Pakistan cricket team skipper Misbah-Ul-Haq has said that favorites doesn’t win always.

He mentioned in pre-match conference that Australia is favorite in tomorrow’s quarter-final clash and it doesn’t guarantee that they’ll win.

Misbah said on Australia, “Favorites doesn’t win always”.

Misbah said, “Yes, they (Australia) are favourites but there is no hard and fast rule that favourites are always going to win the game. It’s on the day, the team that performs better, the team who has better chances, better luck, can really defeat any team.”

Middle order batsman confident that they can beat Australia and Pakistan team is positive for the big knockout clash. Misbah also believes that PAK side has got some serious good bowling line-up that can trouble Aussies at Adelaide Oval’s green top.

He said, “So we are hopeful and we are very positive. I think we’ve got a bowling line-up which can really go through any team, and a few batters just getting back into form. This is only a matter of just putting a good show on that day.”

While talking with media, Misbah was asked that if he was going to announce the team there. He replied with a smile and said, “What do you want me to do? Announce the team here? No, it’s a secret.”
