Nikita Miller replaces Narine in West Indies World Cup squad 2015

ICC technical committee has approved the replacement in West Indies’ world cup squad 2015. Nikita Miller has been included in the Caribbean team after Sunil Narine’s withdraw from ICC world cup.

Replacement in West Indies squad was an exceptional one and ICC also accepts this face.

It said, “The replacement was approved as an exceptional circumstance.”

Nikita Miller replaced Sunil Narine in West Indies world cup 2015 squad.

The Event Technical Committee of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 is Geoff Allardice (ICC General Manager – Cricket, Chairman), Campbell Jamieson (ICC General Manager – Commercial), John Harnden (Chief Executive, CWC 2015 LOC), Gavin Larsen (Cricket Operations Manager, New Zealand), Russel Arnold and Sanjay Manjrekar (independent nominees).

Nikita Miller has played 45 ODIs for West Indies and this left arm-spinner has taken 40 wickets in One-Day internationals. He played last ODI match against England in March last year. Sunil Narine took his name from world cup as he is not confident of making entry in world cup with his new bowling action.
