Sharapova beats Duque Marino to qualify for Acapulco QF

Number one seed player in Mexican Open 2015 Maria Sharapova has beaten Mariana Duque Marino in the second round of tournament. Maria defeated Marino comfortably by 6-1, 6-2 score to make it through quarter-finals.

Maria Sharapova qualify for Acapulco quarterfinal by beating Duque Marino.

Russian beauty Sharapova only took just 68 minutes to thrash Colombia’s Luck Loser Mariana Duque. In the quarterfinal of Mexico Open, Maria Sharapova will face Magdalena Rybarikova. Slovakia’s Rybarikova beat Romanian Elena Bogdan in the 2nd round by 6-0. 6-2 to set up quarterfinal with Australian open runner up Maria Sharapova.

After winning against Mariana, Sharapova said, “The Mexican public has been very nice to me and that motivates to offer the best of me.”

The quarterfinal will be played on Thursday.
