Sony Six to Broadcast 2015 Copa America Live in India

Asia’s one of the top broadcasting network Sony Channel has acquired the official rights to telecast 44th edition of Copa America this year. Sony’s Six and Kix channels will be providing live coverage of Copa America 2015 season in South Asia. CONMEBOL organizes this championship in every 4 years of time period.

Copa America is one of the most prestigious tournaments in the football sport. In this year’s competition 12 teams are participating in the competition containing 10 members of CONMEBOL. There are 2 guest teams from North America (Mexico and Jamaica) will also feature in this event. Uruguay are the title defending champions in Copa America and they are the most successful team of competition as they’ve won it on 15 occasions previously.

Chile is hosting this year’s Copa America competition which is scheduled to play from 11 June to 4 July, 2015. Sony Six business head Mr. Prasana Krishnan was happy to announce that channel will bring live coverage of this wonderful tournament.

Mr. Prasana said, “The Copa América is an iconic competition with almost a centenary-long heritage behind it. We are elated to broadcast the property on our channel.”
