The iconic battle of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 between India and Pakistan is all set to take place on 16th June when Old Trafford to host the match from 10:30 local time. Sarfraz Ahmed to lead Pakistan cricket team meanwhile India to play under Virat Kohli’s captaincy.
If you look at the previous record of both teams in world cup history, India has never lost to Pakistan and won all six matches played against them. Last time these two teams met in 2015 world cup group match where India defeated Pak by 76 runs at the Adelaide Oval.
Manchester’s Old Trafford also hosted these two arch rival in 1999 world cup when Men In Blue beat Men In Green by 47 runs and Venkatesh Prasad was awarded Man of The Match. It is going to be an interesting battle to watch as both teams have got some top class fast bowlers who can win the match for their respective teams.

Bumrah would love to perform well for team India this time as he was criticized a lot after 2017 Champions Trophy final as he bowled no-ball and Fakhar Zaman was declared not out and he then smacked brilliant hundred to beat India.
Batting has been strength for 2011 world cup winners and they’ll rely once again on heavy shoulders of skipper Virat Kohli who will be desperate to score runs. He was failed in a crucial final at CT17 and he’ll look to end the drought of runs this time. MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma, Dhawan, Jadhav and Pandya to play key role in the middle overs.
Pakistan has also got strong squad for this India match at 2019 world cup. Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam, Imam-ul-haq, Mohammed Hafeez and Shoaib Malik are the key batsmen in the side and captain Sarfraz Ahmed to rely on these to score runs at the top. He’ll be in business in the lower middle order.
