The 14th edition of VIVO Indian Premier League will be played in April-May 2021 and teams are gearing up for the top T20 tournament. IPL 2021 players auction took place on 18 February and all participating eight teams bought players respective to their strategies.

Chris Morris was the most expensive player of the auction for not this season but in the history of Indian t20 cricket league. Rajasthan Royals purchased South African all-rounder for 16.25 rupees. A total of 57 players were sold in this mini auction.
