This PhD dissertation is about dance from the Shia point of view.This dissertation is about what movements are dancing and what movements are not dancing from the point of view of Shia religion. The result of this thesis can affect the behavior and lifestyle of about 400 million Shiites.Because it determines whether these dances are lawful or forbidden.
Therefore, this thesis examines one of the strategic cultural issues in the Shiite community (especially the Shiites of Iran).The outcome of this thesis can also affect the decision and the fatwas of Shiite religious leaders (Such as Ayatollah Sistani, Khamenei, Seyyed Sadeq Shirazi, Seyyed Sa’id Hakim) and rulers of Shiite societies.
