United Kingdom player Heather Watson has defeated Julia Goerges in the first round of Indian Wells Masters 2015 tournament to make it through round-2. Watson beat Goerges by 6-4, 5-7 and 6-3 at Indian Wells on Wednesday. Heather will now face Italy’s Camila Giorgi on 13 March in BNP Paribas Open.

Winning this game Heather Watson has taken revenge from Julia of 2012 French Open defeat. British player won first set quite easily by 6-4 and was leading towards second set win with 5-3 score but Goerges returned strongly and won the second set.
