Moeen Ali: Win against New Zealand will put us in great position

The fact is England lost their opening match against Australia comprehensively and almost every expert and cricket fans are keeping England out from world cup 2015.

Moeen Ali says winning against New Zealand will put England in great position.

Moeen Ali wants team to do well against Kiwis and winning them will show the world that England is not behind from anyone and they can beat any side in the tournament. Moeen also said that England is having two best matches at the starting of world cup.

He said, “It’s a very tough start, we play two of the best sides – they are two tough games up front. But if we can win on Friday it puts us in a great position I feel. It will show everybody that we are a good, serious side.”

England cricket team is facing really big problem at the depth of their batting line-up. They are not scoring runs in the last 10-15 overs and this is really causing them a lot.

Ali said New Zealand has terrific side and they are having powerful batting line-up throughout the 50 overs. He also mentioned that England are planning best to restrict Kiwi side at the end of innings.

He said, “Most teams have guys now who can smash the ball towards the end. New Zealand have power throughout the batting line-up, from the top all the way down. We’ve going to have to be on our A-game especially in the last 10-15 overs when New Zealand are very, very dangerous.”
