Pakistan vs Zimbabwe 2015 1st T20 Preview, Predictions.

To be frank, this is going to be more than cricket as no international team had been touring to Pakistan since 2009 when Sri-Lanka cricketers faced terrorist attack. Zimbabwe cricket board and players were suggested not to travel Pakistan for this series due to the terrorist activities in the nation but ZC has done such a wonderful work to bring back the game of cricket in Pakistan.

Preview

Pakistan had a bad Bangladesh tour and team lost ODI series by 3-0 and failed to beat Bangladesh in only Twenty20 match. But thanks to experienced Pakistani test campaign who won one test match and played 1 match drawn at Bangladesh. Now it’s time for home series for Pakistan and will be desperate to win it.

Shahid Afridi will be having huge responsibility to lead side towards winning end as he hasn’t been in good form. He has taken retirement from test and ODI cricket but continuous to play twenty20s. Pakistan didn’t have good world cup and managed to qualify for quarter-final somehow but now its past and team needs to focus on present.

Zimbabwean camp is never been so successful on away trips. They were flopped in 2015 cricket world cup at New Zealand and Australia whereas their recent abroad tour in Bangladesh was a nightmare. Bangladesh beat Zimbabwe comfortably in all matches. So it’s not been a great Bangladesh tour for both Pakistan and Zimbabwe.

Both teams can get in form tonight as it’s a twenty20 match where things change so quickly. Paksitan can’t take Zimbabwe lightly as the visitors are so much capable and talented to beat any side on their day. Dav Whatmore’s coaching and guiding will surely be helpful for Zimbabwean team.
