Rahat Ali has replaced Junaid Khan in Pak world cup 15-squad

Pakistan has replaced injured Junaid Khan with Rahat Ali in 2015 world cup squad. Junaid has been facing injury for past few weeks and it was expected that Bilawal Bhatti would replace him. But Bhatti’s worst numbers in previous game against New Zealand kept him out from cricket world cup team and left-arm pacer Rahat Ali gets opportunity to be a part of squad.

A PCB source said, “Rahat will be proceeding to Australia on the recommendation of chief selector, Moin Khan.”

Rahat Ali has played only one match for Pakistan in past 7 years. Junaid was failed to clear the fitness test before few days week and he was not a part of Pakistan side in two Odis series against New Zealand.

Bilawal Bhatti was included in the side but his performance was worst in the series, eventually in the last ODI where he gave 93 runs in 9 overs.
