Sharapova out from BNP Paribas Open, Pennetta beat her at round-4

World number two rank Maria Sharapova has been ruled out from Indian Wells Masters as she was defeated by Flavia Pennetta in the fourth round match. Pennetta defeated Sharapova by 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 to seal her berth in quarter-finals.

Sharapova out from BNP Paribas Open, Pennetta beat her at round-4.

This is the biggest setback of 2015 BNP Paribas Open till now. Russian star won first set quite comprehensively by 6-3 but she was completely outdated in next two sets. This was the 5th meeting between Sharapova and Pennetta. In last four meetings both players succeed to beat each other twice. Now Flavia is leading with 3-2 score line over Sharapova.
