Will Sehwag’s successive ton placed him in Indian wc squad

Destructive opener Virender Sehwag has scored second successive century in Ranji Trophy 2014-15 season. He is batting on 147 runs in 178 balls against Haryana. In previous Delhi’s Ranji match against Gujrat Sehwag made 105 runs. Viru played 64 runs inning against Rajasthan as well. He is looking in great touch and the question arise that will he make wildcard entry in Indian world cup 15-men squad to be announced tomorrow.

Virender Sehwag may comeback in team India as current opener Shikhar Dhawan is not in great form. Sehwag was a part of world cup winning Indian side in 2011 and he has been out from the national team for around two years.  He was playing against his aggressive nature.

In today’s Ranji match he batted sensibly on the green wicket. When he came to bat Delhi team was struggling and they lost two quick wickets at the score of 28. Gautam Gambhir was failed in this inning and he only made 21. Viru built partnership with Rajat Bhatiya. Sehwag made first 30 runs in 56 balls. Hence we can understand that how much he was focused in this inning. He was not out on 99 when go for the tea session. After coming from tea he hit boundary to complete century.

After completing hundred he started to play his natural game and hit ball all over the park. The interesting fact in his century is that he hit only one six in the match. He has hit 16 boundaries in 147 runs inning.
