India’s Schedule for 2019 Cricket World Cup [Infographic]

International Cricket Council have confirmed Indian cricket team’s fixtures for upcoming 2019 ICC world cup as the organization reveals the schedule of pinnacle event in England. Two time world champion team India to face South Africa in their opening game of cricket world cup 2019 on June 5 at Rose Bowl, Southampton.

Men in Blue’s next match will be against 5-time ICC world cup champion and title defending team Australia on 9th June. This match is scheduled to play at The Oval in London. Both India and Australia met in 2015 world cup semifinal in which Aussies beat India to reach final and then won it.

Team India to face New Zealand challenge in their third world cup match at Nottingham’s Trent Bridge on 13th June 2019.

One of the biggest matches of tournament, India vs Pakistan is scheduled for 16 June at The Old Trafford in Manchester.

Indian team will be playing 9 matches in the early stage of 2019 world cup and will face all qualified nine teams of the championship.

If Blue army secures first or fourth position in the points table after group stage, India will play first semi-final on 9 July at Old Trafford in Manchester. And if team manages to secure 2nd or 3rd place, India to feature in the second semi-final on 11th July at Edgbaston in Birmingham.
