Former Blackcaps captain Stephen Fleming has said that New Zealand and Australia will make entry in cricket world cup final 2015 to be played on 29 March. He also predicts that South Africa team can make near to the finals whereas West Indies cricket team will be the dark horses in the tournament.
Fleming said, “New Zealand and Australia to make the final. South Africa will be close and West Indies are the dark horse.”
He is satisfied with the New Zealand squad and has hopes that team will win cricket world cup for the first time in tournament’s history. Stephen Fleming said, “All the usual suspects, Kane Williamson, Ross Taylor, Brendon McCullum and then the bowling group with Tim Southee, Daniel Vettori and possibly Trent Boult.”
Stephen has named top players like Williamson, McCullum, Taylor, Vettori and Boult who can be the key players in 15-man squad of Blackcaps. He also mentioned that there are some more players in the team who can be match winners for New Zealand in the world cup 2015. He said, “The beauty of it is that I could name another three or four players to watch out for – and that’s why I’m optimistic about the cup. A great chance of doing something special, given form, a little luck and continued positivity.”
New Zealand will play inaugural match of 2015 cricket world cup against Sri Lanka Cricket Team on 14 February at Hagley Oval in Christchurch.
