Sri Lankan pace bowler Lasith Malinga is expected to make entry in international cricket just before 2015 icc cricket world cup. Coach Marvan Atapattu indicates that Malinga will join Sri Lanka cricket team in New Zealand for the last two one day matches of 7 ODI games series in January 2015.
Atapattu said, “Malinga is still recovering from surgery and everything is going well according to plan.

Lasith Malinga has been facing ankle injury since September 2014 and missing international cricket. Sri Lanka is on the tour of New Zealand 2014-15 and will play two test matches and seven One Day International matches in the series. First test of series will be played from 26 December in Christchurch.
