Shoaib Malik returns to Pakistan ODI squad after 2 years

Pakistan Cricket Board has recalled middle order batsman Shoaib Malik for the One-Day International home series against Zimbabwe. Malik is making comeback in the national squad after almost two years long period of time. Not only Malik but also Mohammad Sami is included in Pakistan’s 16-member squad for the forthcoming series against Zimbabwe.

Mohammad Sami is returning to national side after June 2012. Spinner Saeed Ajmal is not included in the Pakistani team for home series. Pakistan lost ODI series in Bangladesh by 3-0 which was their worst performance against Bangladesh ever in history of cricket between 2 nations.
