Zaheer Abbas feels india will have more pressure than Pakistan.

Abbas said, “I have seen India’s performance in Australia and their first practice match against the hosts Australia, so I can say that.”

Zaheer Abbas thinks that team India is not performing well these days so their shoulders are already down a bit. India is the defending champions hence they’ll be having more pressure as well. He said, “India are the defending champions, so there will be more pressure on them to perform as compared to Pakistan.

67 years old Abbas also accepts that Pakistan is a bit lacking due to injures hurt before the beginning of tournament. Mohammad Hafeez’s exclusion from 2015 world cup is a big blow for PAK but still players are enough talented to beat india.

Abbas said, “Pakistan have fitness issues as well and team combination is also not settled as of now. Batting will be weakened in Mohammad Hafeez’s absence but players are talented and if they can handle the pressure well, they will win. Hence, the first match is very crucial and it will be really a high voltage contest.”

India and Pakistan have met previously 5 times in cricket world cup history and India has won all the matches against Pakistan.
