(2.) Suresh Raina is the only Indian player who hit century in t20 cricket world cup. He scored 101 runs in 60 balls against South Africa in 2010 ICC World twenty20 group match.

(3.) Mahendra Singh Dhoni holds the record of playing most number of matches as captain in 20-20 world cup.

(4.) In 2007 world cup final, India’s Irfan Pathan was awarded Man of The Match for his 3 wickets.

(5.) India never lost against Pakistan in ICC world t20s. Both India-Pakistan have met four times in this fastest format world class event and each time India defeated Pakistan.

(6.) There is only one occasion when Bowl-Out took place in Twenty20 world cup. It happened in 2007 competition when India-Pakistan match tied after 20 overs each side. Then India beat Pakistan by 3-0 in bowl out.

(7.) Yuvraj Singh is the only cricketer who hit 6 sixes in an over of 20-20 world cup. He slammed six 6s in an over of England‘s Stuart Broad.

(8.) Rohit Sharma is the most successful Indian batsman in ICC World T20s as he’s scored 585 runs in played 23 matches.
