Real Madrid has beaten Schalke 04 at the aggregate score 5-4 to seal their berth in UEFA Champions League 2014-15 quarterfinals. This is the consecutive fifth occasion when Real Madrid will be playing quarter-final whose draw will be declared on 20 March, 2015.

But thanks to their first leg performance and win that helped them to make it through quarterfinals. In the first leg of round-16 in Champions League Real Madrid defeated Schalke by 2-0, hence after the aggregation of both goals, Madrid was ahead and they gone through to QFs.
