Russia to play Saudi Arabia in 2018 world cup opener

The groups for 2018 world cup have been finalized after final draw’s conclusion and we have got all the required details about the matches who to play whom. Hosts Russia will be taking on Saudi Arabia in the opening fixture of FIFA World Cup 2018 on 14 June at Luzhniki Sadium in Moscow.

32 teams were categorized into 4 pots ahead of draw as each pot consists of 8 teams. Hosting nation Russia was placed in the Group A and they have been drawn with Uruguay, Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

The winner of Group A will be facing runner-up of Group B meanwhile runner up to play against winner of Group B. So it will be interesting to see who plays good football as Uruguay are hot favorite to top the group A.
