UEFA European Championship is a football tournament in which men’s national teams from Union of European Football Associations members take participation. This Euro Championship is held in every four years of span time. Portugal are the current winners of UEFA Euro Cup.
The first edition of UEFA European Championship was held at France in 1960. Soviet Union won the inaugural edition of championship by defeating Yugoslavia in the final match by 2-1. The recent tournament was hosted by France in 2016 which was won by Portugal football team by defeating France in the final by 1-0.
Next UEFA Euro championship is scheduled to take place in 2020 across various European countries.
