Ajmal may play 2015 world cup semi-final if PAK beats AUS

Pakistan’s one of the biggest spinners Saeed Ajmal may be included in Pak squad for ICC world cup 2015 if team gets succeed to win over Australia in quarter-final on 20 March. In report published on PTI, Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Shaharyan Khan has mentioned that Ajmal may be sent to Australia to replace injured Mohammad Irfan if team reached to semi-final.

PCB chairman said, “option of flying out off-spinner Saeed Ajmal to Australia for the cricket World Cup was available if Pakistan reached the semi-finals of the tournament.”

Mohammad Irfan was ruled out yesterday from world cup as he got stress fracture of the pelvic.

“Ajmal could replace the injured pacer Muhammad Irfan, who was ruled out of the World Cup on Tuesday with a stress fracture of the pelvic. Pakistan take on co-hosts Australia at the Adelaide Oval on Friday,” he added.
