The biggest setback for Chile is that Jorge Valdivia has withdrawn from these two matches due to injury. He’ll not be available to play against Brazil and Iran as he is recovering from injury and looking to get himself fit before Copa America 2015.

Jorge Valdivia is used to play for Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras club and he got injured during a football game. His football club Coach Oswaldo de Oliveira talked more about his injury and recovery. He said, “Valdivia asked the club along with the Chilean Federation to step in so that he didn’t have to join the Chile squad because he acknowledged he had not been playing here at Palmeiras.”

“It seems like a decent gesture on his part after the serious injury he had. I think we’ll need another fortnight until he’s right, although he would be fit enough to play this week,” Oswaldo added.
