Today’s Rome Masters meeting will be their third meet of this year as both these two played each other in Dubai Open and Indian Wells Masters finals.

In Dubai Open final Federer beat Djokovic in straight sets by 6-3, 7-5 to claim title whereas Novak Djokovic took his revenge at Indian Wells Masters final. Djokovic won BNP Paribas Open crown by defeating Federer by 6-3, 6-7(5), 6-2.

Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer have faced each other in Rome Masters before in 2009 and 2012 Rome Masters semi-finals. Serbian Djokovic beat Federer on both the occasions at that time. Hence Swiss player will be eager to beat Djokovic this time.

Roger Federer never won Italian Open title and he will be desperate to win this year. Federer beat Stan Wawrinka in the semifinal match who defeated Rafael Nadal in the quarter-final. Switzerland star won semifinal by 6-4, 6-2. On the other hand Novak Djokovic beat David Ferrer in the semifinal by 6-4, 6-4 to set up final against Federer.

It’s a tough call to predict one of these two in every game whether it’s final or not. But today sports Mirchi believes that Roger Federer will win against Novak Djokovic and claims the Rome Masters first title in his career. Federer has got 60 percent win chances today.
