Brilliant centuries from Glenn Maxwell and Alex Carey have lead Australia to defeat England in the third one-Day international match played at Old Trafford. With this 3 wickets victory, Australia won 3 ODIs series by 2-1 and it was the first occasion since 2015 when England lost home series.

World champion England were sensational with their first 50 overs the match though they lost two wickets on the very first two balls of the game. Mitchell Starc dismissed opener Jason Roy and Joe Root in the first over for two ducks.
