The very first pictures of Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik‘s son Izhaan Mirza-Malik photos have gone viral on the internet as baby reached to home last night. Sania had given birth to baby on 30th October 2018 at Hyderabad’s Rainbow hospital.
Sania and Shoaib announced their baby name Izhaan which means submission or obedience (in God) in Arabic.
Hospital discharged Sania Mirza on 2nd November late night and spectators and fans of Malik family were around the hospital get the glimpse of new baby. Hence they captured the moment when Sania came to out from the hospital with Izhann.
However father Shoaib Malik was not there as he returned to UAE to take part in the ongoing twenty20 series against New Zealand. Malik was there in hospital when Sania delivered the baby and he announced the news on micro blogging website twitter.
Shoaib Tweeted, “Excited to announce: Its a boy, and my girl is doing great and keeping strong as usual #Alhumdulilah. Thank you for the wishes and Duas, we are humbled #BabyMirzaMalik.”

The reason behind Izhaan’s surname Mirza-Malik, Sania said in an interview that I and Malik wanted our child to be known as not only by his father’s name only.
“Today I will tell you a secret. My husband and I have spoken about it and we have decided that whenever we have a child, the child will have Mirza-Malik as a surname and not just Malik. So that’s where we stand as a family including my husband. He actually wants a daughter,” India’s tennis ace said.
Sania also shared first picture of son Izhaan after 5 days and mentioned that both of them watched Shoaib Malik on tv playing for Pakistan.
“So it’s been 5 days since we came into this world .. Me as a mother and my little Izhaan as my son ❤️ we’ve even watched Baba play some cricket together since we’ve arrived 😀 it truly is the biggest match ,tournament achievement I’ve ever won or had and there is no feeling or blessing that can be greater than this,” Sania said on social media.
