This is the first occasion when Heater has defeated a top ten rank player. She beat Radwanska in straight sets by 6-4, 6-4 to qualify for the fourth round of BNP Paribas Open. In another round-3 game Timea Bacsinszky beat Ekaterina Makarova to qualify for 4th round of Indian Wells Masters. She beat Makarova by 3-6, 7-5, 6-4 to win third round. Karolina Pliskova is also advanced to fourth round of BNP Paribas Open as she defeated Muguruza by 7-5, 6-4.
