BCCI to discuss Indo-Pak series again with PCB in UAE.

Shashank Manohar who is the president of Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) is set to talk with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shaharyar Khan for the revival of India-Pakistan bilateral series in December. Mr. Shashank Manohar will visit Dubai later this week for the first time after becoming International Cricket Council’s chairman.

PCB Chairman Mr. Shaharyar Khan has already refused BCCI’s proposal of sending Pakistan in India for the home series. It is expected that BCCI President will meet and talk to Khan through a mediator. As per reports, former England and Wales Cricket Board chief Giles Clarke who is also head of the ICC’s Pakistan Task Force will be the mediator between two supremos.

A source from BCCI said, “Manohar will be going to Dubai to take over as the chairman from Srinivasan. He might take up the issue there and try to convince Pakistan to tour India. Clarke, who is a senior figure in the ICC, will play the mediator.”

BCCI invited Pakistan cricket team to play bilateral series with India comprising of ODIs and Twenty20s. But PCB refused the proposal as according signed MoU between two nations, Pakistan was scheduled to host India in United Arab Emirates.
