Covid-19: Novak Djokovic shows plan to restart tennis

World Number 1 tennis player Novak Djokovic has got a wonderful plan to restart the sport in Serbia. World is currently fighting against Coronavirus and all sports tournaments have been postponed or suspended which makes difficult for many players to survive.

Novak Djokovic has donated a lot all over the globe and in this tough situation, he has brought a plan. The plan is to introduce a “TSS tour” for seniors and juniors to compete in the championship. He is aware of problems faced by Serbian tennis players because of COVID pandemic. Hence he introduced the tour.

“I am aware of the problems faced by many tennis players from our country. I am connected to many, and I know that they are going through serious difficulties. So we decided to come up with a plan that will help players overcome this period,” Djokovic said while announcing TSS Tour.

Prize money award is also there for 6 tournaments on this TSS tour compromising of seniors and juniors separately.

“Six tournaments will be played for seniors and prizes will be provided. We will also organize junior competitions, and if necessary, I will also help with personal means to maintain everything in a good way,” he added.

Djokovic also thanked Danilo Petrovic who understand the project and dedicate to help in organizing the event.

“I would also like to thank Danilo Petrovic, who plays a big role in the realization of the project and who helped us to come up with such an idea a lot. I also remind that all competitions will respect the measures on health safety because health is a priority for us.
