Dhoni confirmed India’s 4th successive win in 2015 world cup

Mahendra Singh Dhoni has confirmed Indian cricket team’s consecutive fourth victory in 2015 cricket world cup as he played till the last run in 183 score chase against West Indies today at Perth. Dhoni made unbeaten 45 in 56 balls to play his finisher’s role after so many long days. With this small but match inning India beat West Indies by 4 wickets to reaming unbeaten in world cup so far.

Before this winning toss West Indies chose to bat first on this pacey and bouncy track of WACA. Their decision became worst for them and whole team managed to score just 182 runs in 44.2 overs. From the beginning of their innings Caribbean team struggled a lot against Indian fast bowling. Top 7 wickets were fallen on the score of 85 in 25th over. Thanks to captain Jason holder who made 57 in 64 balls to give something to bowlers to fight for.

West Indies bowlers had only 183 runs to defend and they were on the song when they dismissed both Indian openers on 20 runs in 7 overs. India was struggling but their two key and inform batsmen Kohli and Rahane were on the crease. Both these added 43 runs for third wicket before Virat Kohli was dismissed by Russell on 33 individual score.

After this India lost Rahane, Raina and Jadeja in the run chase. At the end MS Dhoni was on the crease to confirm team India’s victory. Winning this match Indian team has maintained their top position in points table as India will have two more game in the first stage which are against Ireland and Zimbabwe. Mohammad Shami was awarded Mon of the Match for his brilliant bowling. He took 3 wickets.
