Former Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi found to be COVID-19 positive

Pakistan’s star cricketer Shahid Afridi has been found coronavirus positive. Afridi himself announced this on social networking site Twitter and asked fans to pray for him to get recovered from the disease.

Shahid Afridi represented Pakistan in 398 One-Day Interntionals, 99 T20Is and 27 tests and scored more than 11000 runs across three formats. He also took near about 550 international wickets for Pakistan between 1996 and 2018.

And the news of Afridi’s COVID-19 positive, Gambhir also said that he prayed god that he recovers from the virus soon.

“Nobody should be infected with this virus. I have political differences with Shahid Afridi but I want him to recover as soon as possible. But more than Afridi I want every person infected in my country to get well as soon as possible,” Gambhir said.
