Indian Under-19 cricket team has defeated Bangladesh in the final of Asia Cup to win title for the seventh time in history. In a low scoring final, India won the match by 5 runs; thanks to brilliant bowling from young Mumbai bowler Atharva Ankolekar who took 5 wickets in Bangladeshi innings.
Winning the toss, India under-19 chose to bat first at R.Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. The start India wanted, was far away from them as Bangladesh bowlers dismissed top three Indian batsmen at just 8 runs score.
