Previous Meeting

In last meet the match was abandoned due to rain and both teams shared 1-1 point each. This IPL 2015 season Rajasthan and Bangalore met in the 22nd match of tournament in which Royal Challengers Bangalore crunched Rajasthan Royals by 9 wickets with 23 balls remaining.

Royal Challengers Bangalore have 70 percent winning chances over Rajasthan Royals in eliminator of IPL 2015.

Royal Challengers have been playing some great cricket throughout this season though their 4-5 games are affected due to rain. The last match against Delhi Daredevils was abandoned due to heavy rain and they shares 1 point with DD which caused them to slip at number 2 in points table. This forced them to enter in the eliminator match.

Rajasthan Royals had brilliant start in the competition as they won first 5 matches of 2015 IPL and then their momentum was completely broken. Somehow they managed to get into the final 4 with Shane Watson’s all-rounding performance in previous game. But now today they are up against one of the strongest teams of IPL-8 in the eliminator match.

RCB will be highly depending on 4 big guns of their playing XI. Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli and AB De Villiers are the most vital parts of team and 2 of these three have to bat at least 15 overs tonight if Bangalore wants to score big. These 3 destructive players have played some great and dangerous cricket in this year’s IPL season, especially Gayle and De Villiers.

Bangalore side is in much better form than the Rajasthan Royals. Rajasthan’s prime batsmen have lost their forms in recent few matches as Rahane is not looking in good touch from last 2-3 games whereas Steve Smith, Karun Nair, Sampson and all-rounder Faulkner haven’t form as per their calibers. Shane Watson is one of the biggest players for RR in today’s clash as he scored match winning hundred in last game and took 2 wickets.

So it will be interesting to see how they face Bangalore’s bowling attack that charges up with Mitchell Starc’s leadership.

We have predicted RCB to win today and give them 70% chance over RR. What do you say, will Royal Challengers Bangalore knockout Rajasthan Royals tonight?
