Nadal Receives Gold Medal from Spanish PM Mariano Rajoy

Spanish tennis star and current world number 3 Rafael Nadal has received one of Spain’s top civilian honors award as Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy has awarded Gold Medal to Nadal. He has been awarded such big medal for his 14th time Grand Slam Champion’s career success.

On this big occasion, Nadal said, “I never imagined getting a medal like this at such an important place for our country as this. I am very grateful.I always try to give all I have in everything I do. I think this has been one of the keys to my success in my sports career.”

9 time French Open champion added, “This has been a time of highs and lows, lets hope that with the daily work I am doing I can recover my stability and the path to victory.”

Rafael Nadal will now be appearing in the Mutua Madrid Open and is expected that will face Roger Federer in the semi-final.
