Scoring double century in One Day cricket is never been easy. But still some top batsmen have really done hard work to score a landmark double hundred. India’s legendary cricketer Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar was the first ever batsman to score an ODI double ton as he smashed 200 runs against South Africa in 2010 at Gwalior.
Since 2010, a total of six double hundreds have been scored in One-Day internationals in which four 200 plus score was smashed by an Indian. One West Indies and one New Zealand batsman also scored double century in ODI cricket.
Rohit Sharma is the only cricketer who holds the record of scoring 3 double tons in One-Day Internationals. He hit double centuries against Australia (209), Sri Lanka (264) and Sri Lanka (208*) in 2013, 2014 and 2017 respectively. The latest double-hundred was scored by Indian batsman Rohit Sharma against Sri Lanka at Mohali in 2017.
Let’s have a look at the full list of double tons in ODI cricket.
