Pakistan Cricket selectors have dropped premium fast bowler Mohammad Amir from the two tests series squad against Australia in UAE. Amir was failed to take single wicket in the 2018 Asia Cup which forced team management not to include him in the last matches of the championship. Pak couldn’t make it to final of Asia Cup which made selectors to make changes as well.
Sarfraz Ahmed will be leading 17-member Pak team in a crunching battle against Aussies starting from 7th October 2018. There were rumors that Sarfraz would be rested for Australia series so that he can think more about the game and captaincy role. But selectors go with him.
PCB chief selector Inzamam-Ul-Haq made sure that team picked on the basis of fitness and keeping United Arab Emirates conditions in the mind. Selection panel picked three spinner for the two tests as it is well known that Australia struggle against spin and Pak trio Shadab, Asif and Yasir can cash in the series.

“The team has been selected keeping in mind the conditions of the UAE. Amir has been dropped on lack of form and Wahab Riaz and Mir Hamza comes in the side. We have three spinners Yasir, Shadab and Asif who are in the squad keeping in view the UAE wickets,” Inzamam said in a release.
Mohammed Rizwan makes come back in the national side for longest format of the game. He would be flying to UAE as the second wicket-keeper batsman in the team. Wahab Riaz is also returning to the national side along with Mir Hamza.
