Sri Lanka batsman Kumar Sangakkara has created history on Day-1 of the second test match against New Zealand when he was batting on two runs. He has become the fifth batsman in test match cricket to score 12,000 runs. Sachin Tendulkar, Ricky Ponting, Jacques Kallis and Rahul Dravid are the other players who have more than twelve thousand runs in test cricket. Sangakkara scored fastest 12000 runs in test history so far.
