South Africa vs India at MCG is a massive game: Allan Donald

South Africa bowling coach Allan Donald has said that upcoming pool B match against India is going to be a big match for Proteas and team is preparing hard for it. He said that the match is going to be home game for India at Melbourne Cricket Ground as thousands of people will come here and support Indian team on 22 Feb.

Allan donald said South Africa vs India world cup 2015 match will be massive game at MCG.

Allan Donald said, “It’s a massive game: South Africa v India, MCG … this is why we play for our country. It’s a home game for India. There’s going up to (almost) 100,000 people here and there is going to be a lot of Indian support, so keeping the crowd quiet is going to be a big thing.”

This is the only game in pool B for South Africa that they’ll play at MCG and former Proteas fast bowler is expecting to comeback on this ground again as it will host final on 29 March. He said, “If it (finals) bring us back here that’s great. It means we’ve played cricket out of our socks.”

He mentioned that South African team is much focused on Sunday’s big clash against India. He also believes that this time South Africa can lift world cup for the first time in history.

Donald said, “We’re concentrating on Sunday. That really is all that matters. To not be able to walk away with a medal is a bit of a sour one, but I’ve got no regrets. Hopefully this time around there’s something waiting, but we’re very patient about that process. It’s just an awesome time to be around this team. I’m very privileged … I love World Cups. They’re such amazing events.”
