Zimbabwe declares 15-man squad for cricket world cup 2015

Zimbabwe Cricket Board has declared 15 members players list for ICC world cup 2015. Elton Chigumbura is appointed Zimbabwean captain for the world cup. Prosper Utseya is also included in Zimbabwe’s world cup squad who has been facing ban to bowl off-break due to suspect action.

Givemore Makoni (Chief Selector) said, “He (Utseya) is our mystery spinner, bowling mediums and cutters, and his experience will be vital for us.”

Zimbabwe has appointed Dav Whatmore as the new coach of team just few days back for the upcoming cricket world cup. “I’ve personally spoken to all those who missed out and assured them that they are still part of the future.”

Zimbabwe will play the first match of world cup against South Africa in Hamilton on 15 February.
