Brazil named 23-men roster for 2015 Copa America, Oscar out

Brazilian Oscar has been ruled out from 2015 Copa America as Brazil’s football team head coach Dunga didn’t announce Oscar’s name while declaring the 23-men roster for upcoming showpiece event at Chile. Oscar will be missing Copa America due to an injury which he got during a practice session in Chelsea camp.

Coach Dunga said, “We talked to Mourinho and with the Chelsea doctors. His period of recovery will be somewhat prolonged, so he will not be in the best condition. We think he will be better prepared for the World Cup qualifiers, which begin soon after the Copa América.”

Brazil soccer team is in Group C of tournament and will be facing Peru, Colombia and Venezuela at the initial stage of Copa America. Team will be playing their first match on 14 June, 2015 against Peru at Estadio Municipal German Becker, Temuco.
